Craig Hines

Managing Partner

Craig Hines is the Founder and Managing Partner of Boston Federal Accounting and Tax L.P., which he established in September 2012. He leads the firm with a singular conviction: that sound financial guidance, delivered with genuine care, can change the trajectory of a person's life. Under his direction, Boston Federal has grown into a trusted advisor to individuals, families, and businesses across Greater Boston, the North Shore, and clients in more than ten states.

Craig brings three decades of customer service experience to the practice, and it shapes everything the firm does. He built Boston Federal on the belief that clients deserve to be heard, educated, and treated as long-term partners rather than transactions. That philosophy informs the firm's hallmark approach of pairing technical tax and accounting expertise with patient, plain-spoken counsel, whether a client is filing a first return, buying a first home, building a real estate portfolio, or scaling a growing company.

Beyond the firm, Craig has served on the Cummings Foundation Grant Committee since 2023, helping direct philanthropic capital to nonprofits across the region. His community leadership reflects the same principle that anchors his work with clients: a commitment to helping others build lasting financial security and opportunity.
